The Atlantan Magazine, part of the Modern Luxury Network, shined a light on our Quiet Hero Party! Recent editions included a feature about our annual fundraiser. The Atlantan delivers cutting-edge fashion spreads, international travel features, revealing celebrity profiles, and the latest local know-how, ensuring our content consistently engages the city's most cultured audience. Beneficiary Spotlight

Lori Harrand

When Lori was diagnosed with two inoperable brain tumors, her friends sprang into action to help her in any way they could. This is challenging because Lori has lost her ability to communicate effectively. Decisions about finances, accounts and care must be made. 

Since the tumors are inoperable, the priority is to ensure Lori’s comfort and maintain a high quality of life. Having worked most of her life as a hairdresser, Lori has a wonderful network of people who love and support her. 

The number one question we get asked is, “How can I help?” Families are in need of funds for things insurance will not cover, such as equipment or specialize care. That care is often covered at a bare minimum, leaving families with incredibly high medical bills.

Lori’s needs also include assistance with everyday costs of living. We want to help ensure Lori’s final days are comfortable and peaceful for her. Click the button below to donate to Lori's fundraiser.

DOES YOUR COMPANY GIFT MATCH?

Did you know that you might be able to double or even triple your donation to FACT Relief through donation-matching options from your company?

Many companies offer these options to encourage their employees to give to non-profit organizations. If your company offers donation matching, every dollar you donate to FACT Relief could turn into two or three dollars to help us support families in need. Similarly, some companies will make a monetary contribution to match volunteer hours.

Reach out to your HR department to find out about your company's gift matching program. Most companies that participate have a form that must be completed, and many can be done online.
