On December 2, 2021, two days before Rob's 47th birthday, he was diagnosed with colon cancer. The diagnosis came after emergency surgery at Emory when the tumor perforated his colon. This meant it was an aggressive form of cancer, but Rob was otherwise completely healthy, strong, and since that day he’s had an unwavering desire to fight. Despite more than a year of chemo and radiation, the cancer spread. He persevered. At that point, the best option was a high-risk surgery to remove the tumors and wash the inside of his abdomen with heated chemo (HIPEC). Unfortunately, just a few months after surgery, he began experiencing severe pain and the cancer spread further into his abdomen and spine. Rob's current treatment isn't curative, meaning the longer it works, the more days he'll spend with his four amazing girls- Page (16), Joy (14), Leah (8) and Alice (5), and wife Laura.
They are in the fullness of life with the girls and trying to enjoy every day. Please join them in praying for a healing miracle and peace.
Any donation is greatly appreciated and will go toward Rob's medical expenses.
