Families and Communities Together (FACT) Relief

We bring communities, friends, families and loved ones together for a common purpose.

The 5th Annual SPOT Party
for Campbell Clarke

To say that this year's SPOT Party was a success would be an understatement. The party crushed its goal of $30,000 and raised close to $45,000 for the Clarke family!

Not only did we raise money for Campbell and his family but we all had great time in the process! The live auction was fun as always, and the music had everyone dancing the night away.

Proceeds will go toward uninsured medical expenses related to Campbell's stroke. His wife Pam and their boys continue to live life to the fullest extent possible, while navigating care and a high qualify of life for Campbell after a such a serious stroke.

FACT Relief Receives Grants from The Sandy Springs Society

We're excited to announce we recently won a grant from The Sandy Springs Society for our Project HOPE program. In addition to this grant, we were also awarded the first ever Rich Brown Fund grant!

These funds will help families in the Sandy Springs area that are faced with difficult circumstances due to catastrophic illness or injury. FACT Relief is honored to be a recipient of one of these amazing grants.

Caregiver Spotlight

Kimmie Ferrell

Without their caregiver Kimmie, Billy wouldn't know how he'd be able to provide the around-the-clock care that his partner Vance requires. Vance has late stage ALS. Even though they have insurance, Vance's care is not fully covered.

This is where FACT Relief can help. We pay Kimmie directly on behalf of Vance. She is experienced in caring for people with ALS and she and Vance have developed a rapport, which takes time with caregivers.

We have several nurses in our network who work for us as contract employees in situations like this. A family's insurance might pay for enough hours for 3 days per week but they need 5 days per week. A grant from FACT Relief could help support those additional days. We are fortunate to have many amazing nurses in our Atlanta network, including Kimmie. Thank you for all you do for Vance!

FACT Relief Receives Grant from The Mary Alice and Bennett Brown Foundation, Inc.

Another grant to announce!! FACT Relief is the proud recipient of a grant from The Mary Alice and Bennett Brown Foundation, Inc.

We are honored to once again receive this grant that will go into our Project HOPE Program. This program is aimed at helping families that have lost income due to a catastrophic illness or injury. Our beneficiaries thank you and so do we!!

Brian Parker Enhanced Quality of Life (EQOL) Program Update

We're excited to report this program is off to a great start! Initially funded by a generous grant from the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, this program kicked off at the beginning of this year.

Since then we have enrolled three families that are dealing with a loved one that's paralyzed due to having ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). Each of those families have received a grant from FACT Relief to help cover uninsured health and home care costs. This helps primary caregivers get some much needed respite. Thanks to the Reeve Foundation to help us get this program started!
