Anne Dennis Fossick Vincent was born in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1937. She attended Hillsboro High School and went on to Vanderbilt. She moved to Tampa, Florida in the early 1980s and has resided there ever since with her husband, Larry Vincent.
About three years ago she started having symptoms of dementia. It has since progressed to Alzheimer's. Recently, she has become unable to cope without help. Three weeks ago, her husband and daughter had to make the decision to put her in a memory care facility. That was the hardest thing they had ever had to do.
They are seeking financial help from loved ones to cushion the load of the almost $6,000 per month to their small retirement fund. People with Alzheimer's can live up to 10 years with it, so Anne has a potential for being in that facility for several years.
